Pair of Rare and Early George Nelson walnut chests, sold as a pair. Marked in one top drawer with original Herman Miller foil badge. This series of chests were first introduced in 1946 and made for a small handful of years with this pull. Recently, the Basic Cabinet series of chests were re-released by Herman Miller, but this exact design is not available. This “T” shaped aluminum pull was only made for a select number of years. Precisely, opening the drawer reveals the true shape of the pull is a wide flange beam, common in steel architecture. Perfectly refinished in-house and finished with period correct lacquer, which will easily maintain protection for several decades with little to no maintenance required.

Each chest measures 34” wide, 18.5” deep, 33” tall.
