A clean line mid-century modern desk designed by Paul McCobb for his iconic Planner Group, manufactured by Winchendon Furniture. Crafted in solid maple with McCobb’s signature simplicity, the desk features three deep drawers to the left, a single lap drawer on right, and soft tapering legs that give the piece a light, architectural presence.
This design captures McCobb’s timeless philosophy of functional elegance — unadorned, modern, and versatile enough for both office and home use. The warm maple finish highlights the natural grain and complements the minimalist brass pulls.
Fully refinished with a period-correct clear coat, exact color match to original, and is now ready for another 70+ years of enjoyment with minimal maintenance required. Keep it dry and gently polish with lemon oil no more than once a year for maximum longevity.
