Exceptionally made dresser circa 1960’s of solid woods by Basic Witz. Finish wood is Walnut; Secondary (Drawer sides) is Oak, and tertiary woods (structure, drawer portions and “frame” and legs) of solid Poplar and Elm. Drawers are dovetailed and feature ball bearing rollers which are still operating well. Made in Waynesboro, VA. Piece retains its original finish which is still protecting the wood. The dresser could be refinished if the buyer preferred a perfect finish and maximum longevity of a 60+ year lacquer finish. This piece being original means there are some signs of age and that the piece is not perfect. Primarily, note the stain on the right side and the small scratches on the top.
