Original oil on board by British artist John Hewitt (1922-2006). he is best known for this seascapes from North Cornwalll and lived nearby in Rock where he has his own gallery. Hewitt mastered capturing the light coming through the waves and the movement of the ocean. This piece appears to be from the 1970's although it is not dated. Measures 21.25" tall x 43.5" wide overall, visible image is 38.25" x 16".
