A massive original painting by Frederick A. Brothers, dated 1970. Abstract shapes of central circle, halved by a short horizontal rectangle ending in a central focal point in the form of a red square dot. Tones of red, orange and multiple shades of soft yellow. Canvas is framed in simple solid wood frame. Currently on store display in Richmond, VA.
Being it a thick solid wood frame, hanging to a wall is surprisingly easy, we did so with two screws protruding from the wall approximately 1”. A wire could be added for additional ease. Surprisingly light, the Total weight is only between 15-20#. Note lost chip to wood frame: bottom left corner.
Measures approx. 65.5” tall and 49” wide.
