A true survivor, in excellent original condition. Signed with “C. Jeré” and signed on the right bird wing. The Birds in Flight sculpture was first released in the late 1960’s and made for a few years, sometimes dated next to the signature. Although not dated, we believe this is an early variation on account of the added detail to the black finish. Silver paint is applied to most of the wing tips and to the beaks- an extra step that would have been soon phased out. Later examples were all one color. Hangs on the wall via two hooks integrated into the back of the birds. can be hung with drywall anchors of 35# capacity or more.

Condition: Overall excellent having the original finish. Minor rust here and there as photographed- a sign of its age. One weld have some loose on one of the smaller bird wings. This does not effect overall structure.

Measures 58” wide overall, 21” tall and 8” deep at the center of the furthest protruding bird.
