Sculptural Vintage Teak Mid Century Modern Folding Screen Room Divider
Elegant folding screen perfect for dividing a room or creating subtle privacy in the corner of a bedroom. Finish is double sided allowing the screen to float in the middle of a space and have no particular “front.” Allow light into a space but cover up any undesirable angels within any space. Made in the 1960’s, the piece appears to be Danish but is unmarked, and is made of teak. The center panels feature a unique starburst pattern (double book matched grain).
Condition is original and has a deep, rich patina from many years of furniture oil/polishing. Note there exists one impact to the back of one of the panels as photographed. Overall, there exist scuffs and minor finish defects predominately to the feet but the piece is in great vintage condition.
Measures 68” tall, with each panel 24” wide. Stands overall 96” wide however keeping it folded to stand safely the panel is closer to 7’ wide (variable as desired).
